So say we all.
And goons will become the new bob
its happened before it will happen again, an alliance replaces the ruling class and ends up been just as bad or even worse
I can't see Goons becoming a "new bob"
I mean...they don't drive Ferarri's or date KickBoxing girlfriends for a start. That and they're riding off the back of the coalition in T1 frigates.

PANIC!
The other thread got locked now. I agree in part with what you said except that I think part of the 'core' have already left when BoB began to go downhill (I mean in terms of standards, not successes)
As for the OP, it's flawed in the fact that the wars been going on for ages now, why would the coalition suddenly backup if it goes on for another 2-3 months more? It doesn't follow logic, coalition has been on the backfoot during the earlier stages and still carried on, I don't see them packing up now BoBs crumbling and is becoming more and more isolated from the rest of Eve resorting to trying to pass it off as all part of a glorious plan.

Originally by: Sergeant Spot I remember when BoB was just moving onto Delve. I remember the first POS towers going up, and all the investment we've made sense then.
And from day one, there has been something else I've always remembered......
It would be willingly gambled to get some epic pew pew. Its in the very nature of BoB.
While there are some aspect of the fight I'd like to see going differently, we're getting some great epic pew pew, so life is good.
Perhaps calling it a "plan" is not entirely accurate. But the epic pew pew is exactly what BoB seeks.
Hey Sergeant Spot, I like to remember things too, like nearly a year and a half ago when you said:

Goons will exist in 6 months.
Goons will operate here and there in 6 months.
Goons will NOT be permitted to be a sigificant force in 6 months. If they start becoming significant, they will be crushed again when boB feels like it.
Thus, BoB's objective will be met.
the irony of this is that you goons "think" you really are significant. A separate, collective of force, that has beat the odds, avoided total annihilation, and survived BOB's pledge.
But the truth of the matter, is your only link with your existence today, has been from your alignment (re: being tolerated) with one/some of the most powerful non-bob aligned friends you could find.
Beaten time and time and time again on the battlefield as goonswarm alliance, what else, could you do to survive.....
Goons are nowhere near as significant an Eve force as the legendary "Executive Outcomes" who've carved out a name for themselves standing entirely alone.

I was taking what you were saying seriously Fitz, right up until you said Quote: and they dont even smack local up like they used to
It then went rapidly downhill and I just started laughing aloud again.

Originally by: TWD Thats a compelling point of view. What makes you think this way?
He's right about activity, they're 7k kills behind the lead corp (rkk (rkk has the worst K:D ratio but highest kills out of the key corps (it is just ahead of Black Eclipse though, so it's not all bad, though they're both behind Keiretsu))) and haven't been in the alliance as long, so should overtake relatively soon. I think he was joking about the "don't smack" though.
Luckily DP Breacher left ages ago, so RKK fortunes should go up doh! spoke too soon.

Do you think they're better or worse than DICE?

Originally by: Starfall Hammer OK, well lets just all agree Finfleet is the worst corp in bob and leave it at that?
Can't do that, these guys need a chance to prove themselves. Out of the active main corps Finfleet has the 3rd best K:D ratio behind only Destructive Influence and Black Nova Corp.
I think mad props should be given where mad props are due.

So we are clearly bob lite :-)
of course you're the best BoB corp.
You don't try solo camping in a MS straight after DT without even ganging your cyno alt for jump out
